The death has occurred of
Joan O' Connor
(née Herlihy)
Formerly of Bishopstown
On December 7th 2025 in her 95th year, peacefully surrounded by her loving family and in
the wonderful care of the staff of Brookfield Care Centre, Leamlara,
Beloved wife of the late Davy, loving mother of Michael, Billy, Claire and David. Predeceased
by her sisters Mary and Nora, her brother John, daughter-in-law Vickie, niece Noreen and
nephew Liam.
Joan will be greatly missed by her daughter, sons, daughters-in-law Fionna
and Therese and son-in-law Chris,, Michael’s partner Laura, grandchildren Liam, Patrick,
Christopher, Amy, Jane, David, Ronan, Niamh and Saoirse, great grandchildren Jayden,
Teagan and Tommy, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Joan will repose at Cahill's Funeral Home Newtown Rd., Cobh,P24Y383 on Wednesday Decemeber 10th from 5.30pm with prayers at 7pm. Removal on Thursday December 11th at 10.30am to St. Colman's Cathedral for 11am Requiem Mass followed by burial in Old Church Cemetery
