(née O'Connor)
The death has taken place of Joan O’Callaghan (née O’Connor), Spa Glen, Mallow and formerly of Toureen, Burnfort, who passed away peacefully on August 26th 2023, in the loving care of her family and the staff at Cork University Hospital, beloved wife of James (Jim), dear mother of Yvonne (Twomey), Alice (Kelly) and Joanna (Forde), sister of Pat and the late Nora May Sweeney and Kathleen Magner, sons-in-law Neilus, Michael and Diarmuid, grandchildren, sisters-in-law Lily O’Connor, Kitty Barry and the late Betty Walsh, brothers-in-law Henry O’Callaghan and the late William Sweeney, Edmond Magner, Danny and Jerry O’Callaghan, nieces, nephews, extended family and a large circle of friends.

Lying in repose at O’Connell’s Funeral Home, St. James’ Avenue, Mallow, (P51 HH61), on Sunday (August 27th) from 6.30pm with Prayers at 8pm followed by Removal to St. Mary’s Church, Mallow.
Requiem Mass on Monday at 2.30pm which may be viewed on www.churchservices.tv/mallow.
Funeral afterwards to St. Johns Cemetery, Burnfort.
