The death has occurred of Joan O’Doherty (nee Egan), Gortmalogue and formerly Newcastle, Clonmel, Co Tipperary.

Joan passed away peacefully at Tipperary University Hospital on Saturday evening surrounded by her loving family. She is pre-deceased by her sisters Kathleen, Pat and Christina and sister-in-law Delia. She will be sadly missed by her daughters Bríd and Siobhán, son Shay and their dad Seamus, sisters Nan, Bríd and Phil, brother John, grandchildren Daithí, Saoirse, Cerys and Zita, son-in-law Bill, daughter-in-law Klára, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Condons Funeral Parlour, Clonmel on Wednesday evening from 5.00pm to 7.00pm. Removal on Thursday to St Mary’s Church, Irishtown. Funeral Mass on arrival at 12.00pm. Those who cannot attend can watch live via the St Mary’s Parish livestream service https://www.churchservices.tv/clonmel. Burial will take place afterwards in Newcastle Cemetery.

Joan’s family requests bright colours and / or Tipperary Jerseys to be worn at her funeral.
