Late of Clash West, and formerly of Caherina, Tralee.

 

Joan passed away peacefully on January 13th 2026 in the care of the staff of Tralee Community Nursing Unit.

 

Beloved wife of Derry and cherished mother of Seán, Gerard and the late Paul.

 

Joan is pre-deceased by her parents Tim and Johanna Ryan, her brother Seán and sisters Betty and Norrie.

 

Sadly missed by her loving family – her husband, sons, grandchildren Sineád, Conor, Aoife, Oisín, Níamh, Ciara and Siobhán, daughters-in-law Catherine [O’Connor] and Catherine [Dore], her sisters Margaret and Mary, brother-in-law Seán, sister-in-law Mary, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Reposing at McElligott’s Funeral Home, Tralee on Friday from 8.00PM to 9.30PM. Funeral arriving to St John’s Parish Church, Tralee on Saturday morning at 11.40AM where the Requiem Mass for Joan will be celebrated at 12.00 noon followed by interment afterwards in Rathass Cemetery.
