Who passed away peacefully, at home, surrounded by her loving family, on Sunday 25th May 2025.

 

Predeceased by her loving husband John F. and son Douglas (Dougie).

 

Joan will be sadly missed by her loving children, Mary, Peter, James, Margaret (Mags), Anne, Pauline, Michael, David and Kevin, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, sister-in-law, relatives and friends.

 

Joan will lie in repose in Kilboy’s Funeral Home, Loughrea, on Tuesday 27th May, from 5pm to 7pm.

 

Joan’s funeral cortege will arrive at St. Brendan’s Cathedral, Loughrea, on Wednesday 28th May, for Requiem Mass at 12.30pm, followed by burial in Mount Pleasant Cemetery.

Family flowers only. Donations, if so desired, to the Loughrea Resource Centre or the Galway Hospice Foundation.

Joan's family would like to express their sincere thanks to all their extended family, neighbours & friends for all their kindness and support at this very sad time.
