Joan RAFTER
(née McGowan)
RAFTER (née McGowan) Joan (late of Bellevue Park Avenue and Woodbine Road, Booterstown and Clontarf) September 17, 2023. Peacefully, in her 100th year, at Mount Tabor Nursing Home, Sandymount. Beloved wife of the late Frank and loving mother of Margaret (Creevey), Eamon, Jean and Joni. She will be very sadly missed by her loving children, sons-in-law Denis and Liam, grandchildren Niall, Shane, Aimee, Aoife, Ana, Elisa, Aislinn and Sean, great-grandchildren Ciara, Lana, Evan, Emma, Finn and Guille, nieces, nephews, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at Rom Massey & Sons Funeral Home, 6 Cranford Centre, Stillorgan Road, Dublin 4, D04 X446 (opposite UCD Flyover), on Thursday evening, September 21, from 5pm to 7pm. Funeral Mass on Friday morning, September 22 at 11 am at the Church of the Assumption, Booterstown Avenue, followed by burial at Shanganagh Cemetery.
