(née O' Sullivan)

Joan Rice (née O' Sullivan), (Templenoe, Kenmare, Co Kerry and formerly of Coom, Blackwater). On the 25th of March, 2026, Joan passed away peacefully in the exceptional care of the Doctors, Nurses and Staff of Bantry General Hospital and in the presence of her loving family. Predeceased by her beloved husband John, her infant son James, her daughter Bernie (Crowley), parents John and Annie, brothers Ted and Br Simon.

Sadly missed and dearly loved by her children John, Kevin and Anne, grandchildren Eoin, Brian, Gavin, Darragh, John, Emma, Killian and Colin, great-grandchildren Arlo and Peyton, daughters-in-law Kathleen and Kathy, son-in-law Mike (Crowley), sister-in-law Doreen, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, relatives, neighbours and her many friends.

May Her Kind and Gentle Soul Rest In Eternal Peace

Reposing at O' Connor's Funeral Home, Kenmare on Friday evening (March 27th) from 6.00pm to 8.00pm. Requiem Mass for Joan will take place on Saturday morning (March 28th) at 10.30am in Templenoe Church followed by burial in the New Templenoe Cemetery.
