Joan Riordan (née O’Donoghue), Church Road, Templeglantine, Co. Limerick, peacefully, on Sunday, 6th April 2025,surrounded by her heartbroken family while in the wonderful care of all at The Orchid Unit, St. Ita’s Hospital, Newcastle West. Joan, wife of the late Denis, is predeceased by her daughter Margaret (Fitzgerald), son Declan, grandson Donnagh and sister Mary Collins (Abbeyfeale). Joan is very sadly missed by her loving sons Con (London), John, Gerard, Kieran and Denis (Abbeyfeale), daughter Lily Chapman (Northampton), sister Chris Philbrooks (London), daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, wonderful friends and neighbours.

Reposing at Harnett’s Funeral Home, The Square, Abbeyfeale (V94 AK44) on Tuesday, 8th April from 6.00 p.m. until 8.00 p.m. Arriving at The Church of The Most Holy Trinity, Templeglantine on Wednesday, 9th April for Requiem Mass at 11.00 a.m. followed by interment in The Old Cemetery, Church Road, Templeglantine. Requiem Mass will be live streamed on this link.
