Joan Scully

Scully (née Kidd), Joan (Marino) – 6th December, 2025, in the wonderful care of the staff of St. Luke’s Hospital, Rathgar.

Beloved wife of Bob, loving mother of Martin, Robert, Laura, Karl, Jeanne and Jo. Pre-deceased by her parents Laurence and Eva, her aunt Josie and her eight siblings, Eileen, Laurence, Christy, Maura, Pat, Tony, Carmel and Dessie. Joan will be lovingly remembered and very sadly missed by her family, her sons-in-law Sean and Mike, daughters-in-law Imelda, Gillian and Margaret, Jo’s partner Matt, her grandchildren Tara & Nicole, Mia & Alex, Sinéad, Niamh & Seán, Louise, Daniel & Carl, and Molly & Rory, her great-grandchildren Gaia and Elsie, nieces, nephews, her extended family and a large circle of neighbours and friends.

Reposing at the Fanagan Kirwan Funeral Home, Fairview Strand, on Tuesday evening (9th December) from 4pm to 6pm, with family in attendance. All welcome.

Requiem Mass on Wednesday morning (10th December) at 10am in the Church of St. Vincent de Paul, Marino, with Funeral thereafter to Glasnevin Cemetery.
