Joan Shannon
(née Buckley)
SHANNON (nee Buckley) (Glantane) on July 27th 2020, peacefully, at home, surrounded by her family. JOAN, Scarra, Glantane and formerly of Macroom, beloved wife of William (Bill), dear mother of Elaine, Kathy (O'Grady), Neil and sister of the late Donal and Niall. Sadly missed by her loving husband, family, brother Michael, sisters Patricia and Julie, cousin Julie McCarthy, son-in-law Michael John, daughter-in-law Claire, grandchildren Niamh, Isaac, Aoife, Will, Harry, Murray and Elliot, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, her good friend Nuala Lucey, relatives, neighbours and friends.

In accordance with Government and H.S.E. Guidelines, Joan's funeral will take place privately. Joan's funeral cortege will leave her residence at 10.45am on Wednesday, July 29th, for St. John's Church, Glantane. Private Cremation will follow afterwards at the Island Crematorium, Ringaskiddy.
