Joan Spillane
(née Murphy)

On 18th of February 2026, peacefully, surrounded by her loving family at Bantry General Hospital. JOAN, beloved wife of the late Philip, much loved mother of Jimmy, Jerry, Philly, Catherine, Barry and Joanie. Loving grandmother to Ciara, Anthony, Dermot, Aoife, Sarah, Laura, Emma, Rhiannon and Aidan. Sister of the late Connie, Pat Joe, Jerome, Finbarr and Eileen.

Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sons and daughters, sons-in-law Con, Gareth and Richard, daughters-in-law Claire and Marie, grandchildren and their partners, nephews, nieces, relatives and large circle of friends.

May she rest in peace.

Reposing at Coakleys Funeral Home, Chapel St, Bantry on Thursday Feb 19th from 5.30pm to 8pm with vigil prayers at 8pm. Requiem Mass at St Finbarr’s Church, Bantry on Friday Feb. 20th at 12noon (to view live stream please click here) followed by burial in the Abbey Cemetery.
