TIERNEY (née McSweeney, The Shop, Gardiners Hill, Cork): On June 13th, 2023, peacefully at Cork University Hospital, JOAN, dearly loved wife of the late Paddy, adored mother of Regina (O’Shaughnessy). Áine Tierney and Susan (O’Connor) and dear sister of Kay and the late Denis and Eileen.

Sadly missed by her loving family, sons-in-law Michael John and John, cherished grandmother to Clíona, Emmet. Jane, David, and Richard, brother-in-law Pat, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing in the Mayfield Funeral Home, Old Youghal Road of Jerh. O’Connor Ltd. on Thursday (June 15th) from 5.00pm to 6.00pm.

Requiem Mass at 12.00 noon on Friday (June 16th) in St. Joseph’s Church, Mayfield.

Funeral afterwards to St. James' Cemetery, Chetwynd.

Family flowers only please, donations, if desired, to St. Anthony c/o Ardfoyle Convent.
