The death has occurred of Joan Turner (née Lawlor)

 

Born in Ballymacquin on 30 October 1923

Residing in Southfields, London.

 

Joan died peacefully on 23 October 2024 at home with loved family members in attendance.

 

She was the daughter of Moss and Bridie Lawlor, adored wife of Joe Turner, sister of Tom, Paddy, Jack, Peg, Diarmuid, Maisie, Kitty, Betty (all deceased) and Maurice. Mother to five daughters; Joan(Guzzy), Margaret (Peggy) and her husband Simon, Mary, Monica and Philomena (Philly). Grandmother to Joe, Sam, Tom, Ben, George (and their wives Hannah, Emily and Kellie), Eleanor and Georgina. Great grandmother to Harry, Theo, Isabelle and Cecelia.

 

She was Aunty Joan in Kerry for Mary, Ann, Pat (deceased), Cathy, Tina, Norrie, Grainne, Mossie, Phil, Brid, Kathleen, Sheila, Breda, Joan, John, Mossie, Billy, Breda and Lisa.

 

She lived a very long and much loved life and will be missed by all her family, extended family, friends and neighbours.

 

Requiem Mass on Monday 11 November at 11am at St Thomas More's Church, 514 Longbridge Rd, Barking, Essex IG11 9BY followed by burial at Rippleside Cemetery, Ripple Rd, Barking IG11 9PF.
