AHEARN, Joe, late of Rathfarnham, Dublin and formerly of Rathconrath, Mullingar, passed away peacefully, after a short illness, on the 14th of December 2023, in the care of the wonderful staff at Our Lady’s Hospice, Harold’s Cross. Beloved husband of the late Pat (née Begley) and loving father to Colin, Brian, Therese, Grainne and Stephen; he will be sadly missed by his children, son and daughters-in-law Debra, Geraldine, Martin and Paula, grandchildren Claire, Carl, Holly, Grace, Johnathan, and Amy, Johnathan’s girlfriend Claire, Grace’s boyfriend Sean, his brothers, sisters, brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and all extended family, neighbours and friends.

Joe will be reposing in the Larry Massey Funeral Home, Eden Centre, Grange Road, Rathfarnham, D16 VO46, on Monday afternoon (December 18th) from 2pm to 4pm, followed by removal to the Church of Our Lady of Good Counsel, Ballyboden, D16 W263 arriving for 5pm prayers. Funeral Mass on Tuesday morning at 10.30am, followed by burial in Ballyglass Cemetery, Mullingar, N91 EC67, arriving at approximately 1.15pm.
