Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family at St James’s Hospital. Beloved husband of the late Colette, father of Ray, Letty, John and Helen; legendary grandfather to Sharon, Colin, Ciarán, Emma, Eilish, Ronan, Jordan, Evan, Adam and Jude; loving great-grandfather to Josh, Liam and Culainn; father -in-law to Geraldine, Brendan, Helen and Philip. Sadly missed by his sons, daughters, devoted sons and daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, his brother Pat and sisters Marie, Anne and Phyllis, brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

A private Family Funeral for Joe will take place in accordance with current government guidelines. A message of Condolence may be left in the CONDOLENCES section below. Family flowers only, please.

The funeral cortège will pass the Badminton Centre on Whitehall Road at approximately 3.25pm and then pause near Joe's residence at 3.35pm this Friday afternoon (March 19th). The family would like to extend a special word of thanks to the nurses and staff at St James’s Hospital with particular mention to Anne Young, ward staff, who showed great kindness to our dear father.
