Joe Collins

The death has occurred of Joe Collins, Lehinch, Kilkerrin, Ballinasloe, Co. Galway. (Ex County Council), peacefully in the tender care of Galway Hospice on July 22nd 2025, surrounded by his loving family.

 

Pre-deceased by his parents John and Annie Collins, brothers Michael and Eddie, sisters Kathleen, Mary, Delia and Teresa.

 

Sadly missed by his loving wife Maureen (Fahy), sons TJ and John, Daughters Martina, Angela, Josephine O'Shaughnessy (Turloughmore), daughter in law Siobhan, son in law James, adored grandchildren, brother Fr. John (Kiltegan Fathers), sisters Nora Mahoney (London), Margaret Mc Guire, (Cloonfad) and Eileen Maughan (Knocknacarra), brothers in law and sisters in law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

 

May his kind and gentle soul Rest In Peace.

 

Reposing at Kilkerrin Community Centre (H53K7F9) on Thursday July 24th from 6pm to 8pm. Funeral mass will be held for Joe on Friday July 25th at 1pm in St. Joseph's Church Kilkerrin (H53Y326) followed by burial in Kilkerrin Cemetery.
