Joe COOPER

COOPER Joe (Santry, Dublin 9, Capt. of Clonliffe Harriers, retired An Post, Cardiff Lane and TPO and formerly of Larkhill Road, Whitehall) Dec 21st 2020. Peacefully at home surrounded by his devoted family in the loving care of the staff of St. Francis Hospice, Blanchardstown.  Beloved husband of Gladys, loving father of Ian, Emma, Pamela, Robert and Joseph and beloved brother of James, Bernadette, Aileen and the late Veronica. Sadly missed by his family, brother, sisters, cherished grandchildren, son-in-law, daughters-in-law, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and his many friends, especially those in the athletic community.

Due to government Covid-19 advice regarding public gatherings, a private funeral will take place but can be viewed online at 11.30am on Wednesday, Dec 23rd, at https://olv.ie/webcam/.  Those who wish to, may leave a message of condolence in the “Condolences” section below on this www.rip.ie page.  Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu to St. Francis Hospice, Blanchardstown, Dublin 15 or at www.sfh.ie.  House private.  Later in 2021 if there are no Mass gathering restrictions, an event will be held to be announced later, to celebrate Joe’s life for all to attend.
