Joe Dillon, Great Oak, Callan, Co. Kilkenny and formerly of Cuffesgrange, Co. Kilkenny.

Peacefully, in his 90th year, at St. Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny on Wednesday, 29th January 2025.

Pre-deceased by his sons James and Pat, his parents Patrick and Mai, his brothers Andy and Fr. Michael and his sister Marguerite.

Beloved husband of Mary and loving father of Mai, Catherine, Michael, Ann-Marie and Joseph. Joe will be sadly missed by his wife and children, sisters Mary and Kathleen, brother Anthony, sons-in-law Iain and Gavin, daughter-in-law Lorraine, grandchildren Mary, Orla, Sophie, Mia and Louis, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Molloy’s Funeral Home, Callan (Eircode R95 Y443) on Friday, 31st January from 5pm concluding with Rosary and Vigil Prayers at 7pm.

Funeral Prayers on Saturday morning, 1st February at 10.15am followed by removal to St. Molua’s Church, Killaloe, (Eircode R95 YX09) arriving for Requiem Mass at 11am.

Burial will follow afterwards in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Ballykeeffe.
