Joe Doherty

The peaceful death has taken place on Friday 13th March 2026 at the Donegal Hospice, Letterkenny of Joe Doherty, Killydonnell, Ramelton, Co. Donegal F92 DX21 and formerly from Wolfe Tone Place, Letterkenny. Deeply missed by his loving wife Patricia, daughters Chrissie, Kim (Paul) and Nicola (Paddy), grandchildren Bobby, Tommy, Louie, Molly, Eoin, Emma and Jack, sisters Marian Gildea and Patricia McDaid and her husband Phillip, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nieces, nephews and a wide circle of family, friends and neighbours.

Joe is predeceased by his parents Agnes and Danny and brother-in-law Jimmy Gildea.

Joe’s remains will repose at his late residence on Sunday 15th March from 12 noon until 8pm.

Funeral Mass on Monday 16th March at 11am in St. Mary’s Church, Ramelton and can be viewed live on https://www.churchservices.tv/ramelton.

Private cremation later.
