Joe DUFFY

Joe Duffy, Kilfree, Gurteen, Co. Sligo, December 26th, 2020; Peacefully in his 98th year at The North West Hospice, Sligo surrounded by his family. Predeceased by his wife Annie, daughter Jacinta and son-in-law Seamus, brothers Michael and Peter, sisters Kathleen, ‘Baby’ and Aggie. He will be very sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his daughters Bernardine, Joan, and Majella, sons, Joseph and Kieran, grandchildren Darragh, Cian, Dylan, Killian, Laura, Cormac, Joseph, Tara, Ailbhe, Saoirse, Laoise, Conor and Rian, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.

May Joe’s Gentle Soul Rest in Peace

Removal from his home on Monday (December 28th) to St. Patrick’s Church, Gurteen, for Mass of the Resurrection at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in Carrentemple Cemetery. House strictly private please.

Due to current Government guidelines, Joe’s funeral will take place privately to family and close friends only. Funeral Mass will be live-streamed via webcam at www.churchtv.ie/gurteen
