Joe Franks, Oak View, Phelim Wood, Tullow, Co. Carlow and formerly of Springfield, Tallaght and Shinrone, Co. Offaly – 8th April 2026 peacefully in the loving care of all at Sonas Nursing Home, Tullow surrounded by his loving family; predeceased by his brothers Paddy, Monty and Michael.

Sadly missed by his loving wife Monica, daughters Orla and Ciara, son Shane, son-in-law Andy, daughter-in-law Pamela, grandchildren Eimear, Cian, Daniel, Neala and Cillian, brothers Dickie and Eddie, sisters Eileen and Peggy, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, neighbours, extended family, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Halligan’s Funeral Home, Barrack St., Tullow (Eircode R93 TX99) on Saturday, 11th April from 4pm concluding at 7pm. Funeral Home private thereafter please. Funeral arriving to The Church of The Most Holy Rosary, Tullow on Sunday for 11am Requiem Mass after which he will be laid to rest in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Tullow. The family wish to thank the nurses and staff of Sonas Nursing Home for the care and attention shown to Joe during his stay there.
