Joe Hanrahan,

passed away peacefully on December 4th 2025,

surrounded by his loving family

and in the tender loving care of the doctors nurses and staff of St Anthony's ward in the Mercy University Hospital, Cork.

Joe was a loving husband to Bridget (nee O'Shea), a much loved father to Carole and Patrick and a devoted grandfather to Róghan, Tiernan, Quinn,

Sean Óg, George and Effie.

He is sadly missed and fondly remembered by all of his family, his wife, children, grandchildren, sisters; Frances, Elaine, Patsy and Angela, brothers; Peter, Rory and Duncan, son-in-law Sean, daughter-in-law Vicky, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, very kind and supportive neighbours and friends.

Reposing in Hannon's Funeral Home Doneraile on Tuesday evening, December 9th from 6pm to 7.30pm followed by prayers.

Joe will be received into the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Castletownroche for his Requiem Mass at 11.30am

on Wednesday, December 10th 2025.

A private cremation service will take place afterwards in the Island Crematorium Ringaskiddy.

Funeral Mass will be live streamed on www.mycondolences.ie
