Joe Hanrahan (St. Rita’s, Farranshone, Limerick and late of Aer Lingus, Shannon) September 23rd 2023, peacefully at home after a long illness, in the care of his loving family. Predeceased by his sister Rita and brother Donal. Sadly missed and forever dearly loved by his wife Audrey. Much loved and devoted father to his sons Des, Rory, Niall and Joe, his six darling grandchildren. Deeply regretted by his brother Michael, brother-in-law Fr. Des McAuliffe, daughters-in-law, sisters-in-law, relatives, wonderful friends and great neighbours.

Lord for your faithful people life is changed not ended

Reposing at Thompson’s Funeral Home, Thomas Street, on Tuesday evening, 26th September, from 5pm to 7pm followed by removal to St Munchin’s Church, Clancy Strand. Requiem Mass on Wednesday, 27th September, at 11.30am with burial afterwards in Mount St. Lawrence Extension. Funeral Cortege will pass Joe’s home in Farranshone en route to Mount St. Lawrence Cemetery Extension. No flowers, please. Donations, if desired, to Limerick Animal Welfare.
