Hennessy, Joe (Dublin 1 and formerly Templetouhy, Co. Tipperary) – February 12, 2021, peacefully in the wonderful and compassionate care of the doctors and staff at the Mater Hospital, pre-deceased by his parents Molly and Stephen, his brother Paddy and Goddaughter Freda; lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his partner Annie, daughter Rosie, his sister Margaret, brothers John, Stevie and Dessie, nieces, nephews, relatives, extended family, colleagues at Designer Group and his many friends.

 A private family funeral will take place due to Government advice regarding public gatherings. Those who would have liked to attend the funeral but cannot due to current restrictions are welcome to leave a personal message on the Condolences below, by post to Kirwan Funeral Directors, 21/23, Fairview Strand, Dublin 3 or by email to info@kirwans.ie

The funeral cortège will pass by Joe and Annie’s home at Josephine Avenue at 9.40am on Tuesday morning and will proceed to Berkeley Road Church at walking pace. As a mark of respect anyone wishing to participate are welcome to do so, while observing all guidelines relating to social distancing and the wearing of a face mask.
