Joe Hickey, 78 Pairc Mhuire, Tullow, Co. Carlow – 5th April 2026 peacefully surrounded by his loving family in the excellent care of all at SignaCare, Killerig.

Sadly missed by his loving family; beloved husband of Jane and much loved father of Ann, Mary, Bernie, Noeleen, Joseph and Deirdre, his sons-in-law Eddie, Luke, Dave, Karl and Brian, daughter-in-law Cliodhna, his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces and extended family. Predeceased by his brothers Paddy and Hughie and sisters Sheila and Kathleen.

Reposing at Halligan’s Funeral Home, Barrack St., Tullow (Eircode R93 TX99) on Tuesday, 7th April from 3pm to 6.30pm with removal at 7pm for private reposal.

Funeral arriving to The Church of The Most Holy Rosary on Wednesday for 11am Requiem Mass after which he will be laid to rest in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Tullow.

 

House private please. Donations, if desired, may be made directly to The Alzheimer’s Society.
