Joe (JJ) Lally

Formerly of Sligo and Linenhall Street, Castlebar, Co. Mayo,

Ireland West Tourism and Bord Failte Ireland.

Joe slipped away peacefully in the early hours of Tuesday morning, 12 December, 2023, surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his parents Michael and Mary, and by his dearly loved granddaughter Sorcha.

Deeply mourned by his wife Mary, sons and daughters Michael, Deirdre, Joe, John, Fergus and Fiona, dearly loved grandchildren and three great grandchildren, daughters-in-law and partners. Sadly missed also by his sister Angela Reidy, nieces Clare and Denise (Gort and Ennis), the extended Lally and Purtill family and friends.

Reposing at the O’Flaherty Funeral Parlour, Munster Avenue, H91V1K8 on Thursday, 14 December from 5 p.m. with Removal at 6.30 p.m. to the Church of Christ the King , Salthill . On Friday, 15 December, Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Joe at 11 a.m. and following Mass, he will be laid to rest in Rahoon cemetery.
