Joe (John Joseph) White

WHITE (Donnybrook, Cork): On February 22nd 2026, peacefully, in the loving and compassionate care of Riverstick Care Home, JOE (JOHN JOSEPH), reunited with his beloved wife Tess (Teresa Malone).

 

Joe passed away gently on Sunday, surrounded by his loving daughter Valerie, sister Theresa and brother-in-law Tom.

 

A devoted father to Edward, Stephen and Valerie, a proud and loving grandfather to David, Finn and Aisling and father-in-law to Andrew and Paulina. Joe’s greatest joy was his family, and he carried a deep pride in each of them.

 

He will be remembered for his warmth, kindness and especially for his wonderful storytelling, these stories will be told again and again and through them, he will always be with us.

 

He will be deeply missed by his sons, daughter, grandchildren, sister, extended family and by his amazing neighbours and dear friends in Donnybrook, whose friendship and empathy meant so much to him.

 

Reposing at the Temple Hill Funeral Home, Boreenmanna Road of Jerh. O’ Connor Ltd. on Wednesday (February 25th) from 5.00pm to 6.00pm.

 

Requiem Mass at 11.30am on Thursday (February 26th) in St. Columba’s Church, Douglas which will be live streamed on

 

mycondolences.

 

Funeral afterwards to St. John’s Cemetery, Ballinrea.
