Joe (Joseph) Daly

Jerpoint Church, Thomastown, Kilkenny

The death has taken place of Joe (Joseph) Daly, Jerpoint Church, Thomastown Co Kilkenny and formerly of Jerpoint West, Thomastown peacefully, on the 12th November, in the loving care of the staff of the Oak Ward, Palliative Care Unit, WRH, surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his beloved son Brian, Parents Paddy and Tessie, brothers Jim, Billy and John, sisters Ann, Rita (Teesdale) and Bernie (O'Neill). Forever loved, Forever missed by his wife Kathleen, son Ian, daughter Leona, daughter in law Amanda, son in law Davy, grandchildren Lauren, Saoirse, Dan, Ella and Joey, Joe's brothers Paddy, Mick, Brendan, and Frank, sister Mary, extended family, neighbours, friends, and all who knew and loved him. Fondly remembered also by his dear friends from Camphill Ballytobin, where he worked with dedication for 40 years.

Reposing at his home on Sunday 16th November, from 2pm to 6pm. Removal from his residence on Monday morning 17th November to Thomastown Community Centre arriving for 11am (walking from Mill Street) for a celebration of Joe's life followed by removal to the Island Crematorium, Ringaskiddy, Co Cork for service at 4pm.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the Palliative Care Team in Waterford, The Homecare Team, The Irish Hospice Foundation, their family GP, Public Health Nurse and Healy's pharmacy for their exceptional care, kindness and support throughout Joe's illness.

 

Family flowers only please, donations, if desired to the Oak Ward, University Hospital Waterford and the Homecare Team. Donations box will be provided. A message of sympathy can be left by using the Condolence option below.
