Joe Lakes

Aged 87, peacefully, 28th February 2026, in the loving care of the staff at the Annabeg Nursing Home, Ballybrack, Co. Dublin.

 

Joe will be sadly missed by his beloved wife Carleen, his children Joe, Susan, Andy, and John, daughters-in-law Sue, Denise, and Diane and son-in-law Shane, loving grandchildren Robyn, Colm, Niamh, and Katie and great grandson Conn. Deeply regretted by his brothers-in-law Jimmy and Eddie, his sister-in-law Lena, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Predeceased by his beloved eleven siblings.

 

May he rest in peace.

 

Reposing at Fanagans Funeral Home, Dundrum (D14F3X2) on Wednesday evening (4th March) from 6pm to 8pm.

 

Complimentary car parking is available at the old Dundrum Shopping Centre (Lidl) car park - entrance on Dundrum Village Main Street (not Dundrum Town Centre Car Park). Tickets to exit car park, free of charge, available on request at Fanagans Funeral Home, Dundrum.

 

Removal on Thursday morning (5th March) to the Holy Cross Church, Dundrum, for a Funeral Mass at 10.30am followed by burial in Deans Grange Cemetery.
