The death has occurred of
Joe Martin
Joe Martin, Dublin Street, Dundalk. Peacefully in the wonderful care of the Louth County Hospital. 16th January 2022. Joe (retired Dundalk FC player) much loved husband of the late Mona née Mc Guinness, dear father of Mary Gray, Carol Thornton, and Anton, loving grandad of Simon, Patrick, Paul, Mark, Alan, Aileen, Sean, Conor, Rory, Claire and Niall and great-grandad of Aaron, Tom, Lucy, Charlotte, Sophia, Saoirse, Ethan, Katie, Allie, Oisin, Kate, Cara, Lucy, Olivia, Rose and Joe, and brother of Sr. Antoninus, (Rosemary) Terry, Tony and the late Kitty. Joe will be sadly missed by his daughters, son, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brother, sisters, sons-in-law Pat and John, daughter-in-law, Diane, sisters-in law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Mc Geoughs Funeral home, from 3pm until 7pm on Wednesday. Removal on Thursday morning at 10.50am walking to St Patrick’s Cathedral, arriving for Mass at 11am. After Mass the cortège will proceed up to Dublin street then onto Oriel Park. Burial afterwards in St Patrick’s Cemetery.
