The death has occurred of
Joe Mc Mahon
Formerly of Mc Mahon’s Bar, Patrick Street, Limerick.
It is with deep sadness that the Mc Mahon family share the news of Joe’s passing on Wednesday, 8 May 2024 peacefully at home with his dearly loved family by his side.
Predeceased by his parents Margaret and Jeremiah, his infant son, Joseph, and his sister, Helen Devereux.
Deeply mourned by his wife and best friend Bridie and by his sons Ivan and Richard. Sadly missed by his family, Ivan’s wife Molly and Richard’s wife Catriona, his much loved grandchildren Robert and Gregory and Claire Bridget and Kristin, brothers Michael and Jerry, the extended Mc Mahon and Scanlan family, neighbours, friends and colleagues at University of Galway.
Reposing at home on Monday evening, 13 May from 4.30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Removal on Tuesday, 14 May to arrive at St. James’ Church, Bushy Park in advance of Requiem Mass therein at 11 a.m. Following Mass Joe will be laid to rest in the adjoining cemetery. This Mass will not be live-streamed.
