Joe McALEESE

Joe passed away suddenly and peacefully in the care of the dedicated staff of Anovocare, Cloghran, Co Dublin on Thursday 2 October 2025. Beloved son of the late Dan and Catherine. Adored husband of Joan, great Dad to Barbara, Tom and Paul, a wonderful Papa Joe to Joe, Sarah, Kate, Ben, Emily and Tom, father-in-law to Liz and Sinead and friend of Martin, Barbara’s deceased partner. He is predeceased by his brothers Donal, John, Jimmy and Tommy. He will be forever loved and always celebrated by his heartbroken family, nieces, nephews and a wide circle of friends including his Portmarnock golfing companions and friends in Lahinch.

Joe will repose at Fanagans Funeral Home, Lwr. Main St., Dundrum on Tuesday 7th October from 5-7pm. Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday 8th October at 11.00am at Church of the Assumption Booterstown,
