Peacefully in U.C.H.G surrounded by his loving family, after an illness bravely borne .
Predeceased by his parents Thomas and Eillie, his sisters Eileen Conneely (Ballyconneely) and Josephine O' Connor (Tuam) and his nephew Damien O' Connor (Tuam).
Sadly missed by his loving wife Eileen, his adored children Joe and Marie, his cherished grandchildren Eoghan and Joseph McCann and Rory Simpson, his brother Gerry (Ballyconneely), his sisters Mary Naughton (Tirellan heights, Galway), Pauline Mitchell (Renmore, Galway) and Carmel Burke (Tirellan heights, Galway), son-in-law, daughter-in-law, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, extended family, neighbours, his colleagues in Clifden livestock mart and a wide circle of friends both near and afar.
May his gentle soul Rest In Peace.
Reposing in the Chapel of Rest, Ballyconneely (H71FW52) on Thursday 6th of February from 4pm until 7.30pm with removal at 8pm to The Church of The Holy Family, Ballyconneely.
Funeral Mass for Joe on Friday the 7th of February at 12noon followed by burial in The Old Graveyard, Ballyconneely.
Family flowers only, donations in lieu to Connemara Therapeutics Riding.
