The death has occurred of
Joe McGowan
Joe McGowan, “Rahanna House” Ardee and formerly of Main Street, Blackrock, Co. Louth. Passed away peacefully on Friday 9th January 2026. Joe beloved husband of the late Esther née Fox, dear father Paul, Joe, Deirdre, Barbara and the late Phil and brother of Noel, Eilish, Andrew, Liam, Tom, Anne, Rosemary, Maureen the late John. Joe will be sadly missed by his sons, daughters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, son-in-law, daughters-in-law, brothers, sisters, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
May He Rest in Peace.
Joe will repose at his Home “Rahanna House“, Ardee (A92 TD92) from 2pm until 9pm on Sunday. Removal on Monday to St. Oliver Plunkett Church, Blackrock (A91 DD56), arriving for Mass at 12noon. Burial afterwards in St. Fursey’s Cemetery, Haggardstown (A91 XH75).
