MURPHY (Banduff and Cathedral Road,Cork): On August 8th, 2025, unexpectedly, in the Mercy University Hospital, JOE, beloved husband of the late Fionnuala, devoted dad to Sarah and Owen and doting Grandad to Owen, Amelia, Robyn and Alex.

Sadly missed by his heartbroken daughter and grandchildren, his siblings especially his sister Assumpta and brother-in-law aw Barry, nephews, nieces, extended family, his colleagues in Geaney & O’Neill especially James, neighbours, friends and his beloved pets Dobby and Tilly.



Reposing at the Mayfield Funeral Home, Old Youghal Road, Cork of Jerh. O’Connor Ltd. on Tuesday (August 12th) from 5.00pm to 6.00pm.

 

Requiem Mass at 10.00am on Wednesday (August 13th) in St. Joseph’s Church, Springhill, Glanmire which can be viewed

Funeral afterwards to The Island Crematorium, Rocky Island, Ringaskiddy which will be live streamed
