Formerly of Corofin, Co. Galway and Mullingar, Co. Westmeath

On Tuesday the 23rd of December 2025, Joe died peacefully at University Hospital Galway, with his loving family by his side.

Joe will be sadly missed by his heartbroken wife Mary, his beloved children Joseph, Richard, Elizabeth, Catherine and George, son-in-law Cathal, daughters-in-law Elizabeth, Annmarie and Arianna, grandchildren Rosa, Liam, Evie, Eleanor and Éabha, brothers Sean, T.P. and Francis, sisters Philomena, Elizabeth, Sal and Mary, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Reposing at his residence (H91 P215) on Friday the 26th of December from 4:00pm to 7:00pm. Funeral will arrive to The Church of the Immaculate Conception, Moycullen (H91 Y54A) on Saturday the 27th of December for Requiem Mass at 12 noon. Joe will then be laid to rest in the adjoining cemetery.
