Peacefully surrounded by his loving family at University Hospital Galway. Beloved husband of Christina. Will be sadly missed by his wife, his son Liam, sisters Annette (Vancouver), Mary (Sussex) and Carmel (Roscommon), brothers Peter (York), Padraig (Roscommon), Gerry (Roscommon), Eamon (Roscommon) and Mick (Oranmore), his honorary grandchildren Caoimhe, Stephen, Clodagh and Shane, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Reposing in The Holy Family Funeral Home, Mervue, in the grounds of The Church of the Holy Family, Mervue, on Wednesday, the 8th of March, from 5pm. Private removal at 6:30pm to his home. Joe's Requiem Mass will take place on Thursday, the 9th of March, at 12:30pm in The Church of the Holy Family, Mervue. Funeral afterwards to Rinville Cemetery, Oranmore.
