The death has occurred of
Joe O'Connell
O'Connell (Sean Buckley Park, Bandon and formerly of Oliver Plunkett Street) on March 9th 2022 at the Mercy Hospital, Cork. Joe (late of Carbery, Ballineen), beloved husband of Betty (nee Fitzpatrick) and dear father of Sandra (Buttimer), Susan (Lambe), Joe Junior, Claire and Mark, brother of the late Winifred and grandfather of the late Matthew.
Sadly missed by his loving wife, family, sister Margaret, brothers Pat, Noel and Denis, sons-in-law John and John, daughter-in-law Johanna, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, neighbours, relatives and friends.
Lying in repose at Gabriel and O'Donovan's Funeral Home, Bandon on Friday evening from 5.30pm followed by prayers at 6.30pm. Requiem Mass on Saturday at 11am in St. Patrick's Church, Bandon which will be livestreamed on www.bandonparish.ie, funeral afterwards to the adjoining cemetery.
Family flowers only. Donations in lieu to the Mercy Hospital Cork.
