Joe Parkes late of 34, Parnell Square Athlone.

Peacefully in the tender care of the nurses and staff of Sonas nursing home on Friday the 10th of January 2025. Predeceased by his beloved parents Joe and Eileen Parkes, sisters Eileen and Mary, his brothers Jimmy, John and Gabriel, niece Sonia (USA), nephew Seán (Kilkenny). sisters in-law Ellen and Angela (Dublin), and brother in-law Reg Watts (England). Sadly missed by sisters Hilda, Bernadette (USA), Joan (Kilkenny), brothers Noel, Brendan, and Gerald (USA), all his nieces and nephews, sisters and brothers in-law, relatives and many friends.

Mass of the Resurrection on Tuesday at 12 noon in Ss. Peter and Paul's Church Athlone, followed by private cremation.
