Joe Shanahan

Shanahan Joseph. April 9th 2016. Late of Main St., Bruff, Co. Limerick, Stamford CT. USA and The Dunraven Arms Hotel, Adare, Co. Limerick. Peacefully, in the loving care of his family and the nurses and staff of Caherass Nursing Home. Deeply regretted. Beloved Uncle to his nieces; Suzanne Murphy (Cardiff), Noelle Bannon (Tullamore), Suzanne Thurlow (Bruff), Mary O'Riordan (Kildimo), Elaine Lynch (USA), Mary (Spain),Connie and Martina (UK), and nephews; Carl Shanahan (USA),Karl Shanahan (Limerick), Jim Hannan (UK), Michael Murphy (Limerick), Paul Shanahan (UK); together with the family in the U.S.,Carl, Brendan, John, Michael, Kevin, and Aiden, Mary Shanahan and the Hynes Family and his grandnieces and grandnephews. Sadly missed by Bryan Murphy, Louis Murphy, John Shovlin, Denis O'Riordan,management and staff of the Dunraven Arms Hotel and also his large circle of friends in Ireland and the USA. Rest in peace. Requiem Mass will be celebrated at 2:30pm at Holy Trinity Church, Adare on Friday, April 15th,2016. Burial afterwards in Bruff Cemetery.
