Joe Shanahan
Joe Shanahan, Summerhill, Birdhill, Co. Tipperary. 26th November 2025, peacefully in the excellent care of St. Michael’s Nursing Home Caherconlish in the presence of his loving family. Predeceased by his sister Bridgie. Sadly missed by his loving wife Ann, daughter Maura, sons Brian and Joe, daughters in law Sarah and Marie, grandchildren Micheál, Emma, Tom and Liam, brothers Billy, Denis and Tim, sister Sr. Margaret, sisters in law, brother in law, nephews niece, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Meehan’s Funeral Home, Newport on Saturday 29th November from 5 to 7 p.m. Arrival on Sunday 30th to Our Lady and St. Lua Church, Ballina for Requiem Mass at 12 noon, which can be viewed on www.churchcamlive.ie/ballina-boher-parish . Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. House Private Please.
