Peacefully in his 87th year on Tuesday 26th November 2024

surrounded by his loving children Kate and Greg.

Predeceased by his beloved wife Anna, parent’s Hugh and Lily and younger brother Billy. Joe will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him, his daughter Kate and his son Greg , grandchildren Freddie and Louis, son-in-law Neil, and Gregs partner Sam, his brothers Paul, Louis, and Gabriel, sisters Dympna , Finola and Nolag Rattigan, his sisters-in-law Nora and Judith, brother-in-law John Rattigan, his many nieces and nephews, relatives and many friend’s at home in Athlone, the UK and throughout the World.

A Funeral Mass for Joe will be held at 11.30 on Friday 13th December in the Church of St John the Evangelist, Brentford, Middlesex. TW8 9JF, United Kingdom followed by cremation at 13.20 in Mortlake Crematorium, Richmond TW9 4EN.

There will be a Mass in Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, Coosan, Athlone to celebrate Joe’s life at a later date in 2025.
