Joe Smith, Tallanstown, Dundalk, Co. Louth. Peacefully at the Louth County Hospital, Dundalk on Sunday, 16th February 2025.

 

Joe is predeceased by his infant son John, his parents Johnny and May, sister Cathy and infant brothers Noel and Eddie. He will be sadly missed by his much loved and devoted family, wife May, daughters Mary and Anne and son Philip, his cherished grandchildren and their partners Shane (Lynne), Mark (Lauren), Alanna (Eoin) and Courtney (Harry), great-grandchildren Saoirse and Shea, sons-in-law Gerry and Kenneth, daughter-in-law Carmel, his brothers Patsy, John and Dessie, his sisters Tina, Marie, Margie and Carmel, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and good friends.

Joe will repose at Finlay's Funeral Home, Tierney Street, Ardee, Co. Louth (Eircode A92 EY88) on Tuesday (18th) from 4pm to 7:30pm. Removal on Wednesday (19th) leaving from Funeral Home to Sts. Peter and Paul's Church, Tallanstown arriving for 11am Funeral Mass. Burial afterwards in St. Oliver Plunkett's Cemetery, Tallanstown.
