JOE WEST

WEST (Grange, Douglas and formerly of Ascension Heights, Gurranabraher): On May 14, 2025, peacefully, at the Mercy University Hospital, after a long illness bravely borne, surrounded by his loving family, JOE (late of Youghal Carpet Yarns). Beloved husband of Mary (née Galway), devoted father of Kelsey and Aaron, cherished granda of Fiadh, dear son of the late Tommy and Nora and loving brother of the late Stephen and Mary. Sadly missed by his heartbroken family, Kelsey’s partner Darren, Aaron’s partner Sadhbh, his adored nieces Jessica and Stephney, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, relatives, neighbours and friends.

May he rest in peace.

Reposing at Sullivan’s Funeral Home, Turners Cross on Friday (May 16th) from 5pm until 6pm.

Requiem Mass on Saturday (May 17th) at 1pm in St Columba’s Church, Douglas which will be livestreamed HERE.

Funeral afterwards to the Island Crematorium, Ringaskiddy.
