The death has occurred of
John A. Dixon
It is with deep sadness we announce the peaceful passing of John A. Dixon, late of Lahinch Parish, 21st of December 2025, at Limerick General Hospital following a short illness. Predeceased by his cherished siblings, Monsignor Francis (Frank) Dixon, Matron Mary Dixon, Sr. Kathleen Dixon, Dr Richard Dixon, and Eileen Treacy (nee Dixon).
Deeply missed by his loving nephews, Paul, Richard, Ciaran, and Rory Dixon, Tim and Patrick Treacy, nieces, Marion, Eileen and Rita Treacy, his close longtime neighbours, the Thynnes and Byrts of Attycristora, his grandnieces and nephews, his parish priest and fellow congregation members, and wider circle of friends.
The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to the nurses, carers, and doctors of Limerick Regional and Ennis General hospitals.
May he rest in peace.
Reposing at his residence at Attycristora, Lahinch this Monday the 22nd of December from 5pm until 7pm. Removal to The Church of the Immaculate Conception, Lahinch, on Tuesday the 23rd of December for funeral mass at 11 o'clock, followed by burial afterwards in the Old Cemetery, Ennistymon.
