AHERN (Monard, Rathpeacon, Cork): On September 13th, 2025, peacefully, after a short illness at home, surrounded by his family, JOHN, loving husband of the recently deceased Teresa (née Buckley), cherished dad of Denis, Seán, Aileen and Brendan, adored grandfather of Eoghan, Jack, John, Fionn, Enda, Kate, Lily, and Ben, dear brother of Patsy, Michael, Tom, Jerh and the late Monty, Carmel, Billy, Denis and David.

 

Sadly missed by his loving family, daughters-in-law Anna, Catherine, and Claire, grandchildren, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

 

Reposing at the Coburg Street Funeral Home of Jerh. O’Connor Ltd.; On Sunday (September 14th) from 5.00pm to 6.00pm.

 

 

Requiem Mass at 11.30am on Monday (September 15th) in The Church of the Immaculate Conception, Blarney which will be live streamed
