John Anderson. St. Barbara’s Park, Kildare Town, Co. Kildare. Formerly of Mountgale, Rathmoyle, Co. Kilkenny. Retired Defence Forces. Peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff at Lourdesville Nursing Home, Kildare Town. Son of the late William and Mary-Jo. Brother of the late Tom, Martin, Richard, Michael, Liam and Mary. Predeceased by his wife Vera Anderson (nee Page). Sadly missed by his daughters Elaine and Laura, son in law Bryan, daughter in law Doris, brother Pat, sisters Stella, Brigid, Betty and Helen, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at McWey's Funeral Home, Abbeyview, Kildare Town, from 5pm until 8pm on Tuesday with rosary at 7pm. Removal by Glennons Funeral Directors on Wednesday morning to arrive at St. Brigid's Parish Church, Kildare Town, for Requiem Mass at 11am. Mass will be live streamed on mcnmedia.tv. Burial afterwards in St. Conleth's Cemetery, Kildare Town.
