John Anthony O’Leary

O'LEARY, Greenane, Bere Island, Beara, Co. Cork on the 17th August 2025, peacefully in the exceptional care of the staff in Marymount Hospice in the presence of his loving family, JOHN ANTHONY (Tony).
Beloved husband of the late Carole.
Deeply mourned by his sons Sean and Seamus and their wives Bev and Aisling, daughter Katie and her partner Alan, granddaughters Charlotte and Eabha, grandson Benjamin, sister Margaret and her husband Rob, cousins, relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Reposing in Harrington's Funeral Home, Castletownbere on Tuesday (19th) from 5pm to 7pm followed by removal St. Michael’s Church, Bere Island.
Requiem mass will take place on Wednesday (20th) at 12 midday followed by cremation at the Island Crematorium, Ringaskiddy at 5pm.

Bere Island Ferry will leave the slip in Castletownbere at 10.55am and Murphys ferry will leave the pontoon at 11.30am.
