John Anthony (Tony) Moynihan, late of Dalkey Co. Dublin, passed away peacefully, on 16th June, 2018, in the wonderful care of the staff at Kinvara House Nursing Home, Bray; sadly missed by his heartbroken family, his beloved wife Nuala, devoted children Eoin, Fionnuala, Róisín and Aisling, loving sister Geraldine and brother Michael, his treasured grandchildren James, Cian, Gavin, Saoirse, Caoimhe, Ciaran, Fia, Sineád, Leila and Roan, remembered with love by his sons-in-law Paul, Alan and Frank, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and extended family. Tony will be missed by his wide circle of colleagues, past students from down the years and his loving friends that have blessed his life.
The family would like to say a special word of thanks to the staff of Home Instead that had a great impact on Tony’s life in recent years.
There will be a gathering for family and friends at Colliers Funeral Home, Old Connaught Avenue, Bray on Wednesday, 20th June from 7.00pm to 9.00pm. Requiem Mass on Thursday, 21st June at 10.00am in the Church of the Assumption, Castle Street, Dalkey followed by burial in Kilternan Cemetery Park, Ballycorus Road, Kilternan. Family flowers only, please. Donations, if desired, to the Parkinson's Association of Ireland or Dogs Trust can be made at both the funeral home and church.
