John BAILIE

BAILIE;  John (Dun Laoghaire and late of Carrickfergus) - December 4th 2016 (peacefully) at Foxrock Nursing Home following an extended illness, dearly beloved husband of Mena, loving father of Kevin, father-in-law of Claire and adored Granda of Isobel and Rory.  Sorely missed by his sisters Kathleen and Anne, brother Denis, nephews, nieces, entire family circle, friends and neighbours.

May he rest in peace.

Reposing at Patrick O’Donovan & Son Funeral Home, Sallynoggin (opp. Sallynoggin Church), on Tuesday 6th December with family in attendance 2pm – 5pm.  Removal on Wednesday morning to the Church of Our Lady of Good Counsel, Churchview Road, Killiney after 10am prayers arriving at 10.45am for Requiem Mass at 11am, followed by burial at Shanganagh Cemetery, Shankill. Family flowers only please.  Donations, if desired, to St. Vincent de Paul. Donation box available at Church.

The family would like to sincerely thank all of the nursing and medical staff who cared for John throughout his extended illness. Special thanks to Dr. Brian Kilbride G.P. and all of the staff at Foxrock Nursing Home who were so good to John in the last months of his life.
